  1. To experience the benefits of PowerPC performance using Persuasion, try running
  2. any Persuasion Player file (created in either Persuasion 2.1 or 3.0) on both a
  3. 68xxx Macintosh, such as a IIci or Quadra, and then on a Power Macintosh. To
  4. facilitate comparisons, we've provided a sample Player file created in
  5. Persuasion 3.0, "Player Demo".

  7. To view a Player file on a 68xxx Macintosh, follow these steps:

  9. 1. Copy the Persuasion Player 3.0 application to the hard disk of any 68020,
  10. 68030 or 68040-based Macintosh.
  11. 2. Double-click on the Persuasion Player 3.0 application icon to launch it.
  12. 3. From the File menu, choose Open and then select the Player file you want to
  13. view.  To view slideshow settings, check the slideshow settings checkbox and
  14. then press return.  (To skip the slideshow settings dialog, make sure the
  15. slideshow settings checkbox is unchecked.)
  16. 4. Press return to begin the slideshow.

  18. To view a Player file on a Power Macintosh, follow these steps:

  20. 1. Copy the PowerPlayer application to the hard disk of a Power Macintosh.
  21. 2. Double-click on the PowerPlayer application icon to launch it.
  22. 3. From the File menu, choose Open and then select the Player file you want to
  23. view.  To view slideshow settings, check the slideshow settings checkbox and
  24. then press return.  (To skip the slideshow settings dialog, make sure the
  25. slideshow settings checkbox is unchecked.)
